Satsang is a group Sadhana (practice) which includes meditation followed by Kirtan (devotional chanting) and an informal talk on the practical philosophy of Yoga and Vedanta.
What should I know ahead of time?
This program is free and open to all. As a nice practice we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before Satsang begins so that you have time to settle in and quiet your mind. The Kirtan (chanting) books are provided. The length of our community Satsang is typically 90 minutes.
However given the current situation it is being limited to 45 mins.
What about if I’m running late?
If you missed getting here before the scheduled start time, please understand that for everyone’s benefit, the doors are to remain closed once the silent meditation starts.
So you are requested to please not be late.
There will be no one around to let you in.
Once inside, please quietly make yourself comfortable. Chant books are provided to help you to follow along and participate in the devotional chanting if that feels nice to you.
